1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms govern your access to and use of the Marlborough Provincial Museum website (marlboroughmuseum.org.nz). By browsing, viewing content, making donations, or purchasing items through this website, you agree to comply with these terms. 2. Intellectual Property & Asset Ownership

Digital media and text assets across this website fall strictly under three ownership categories:

  • Marlborough Historical Society Assets: All archival photography, historical research monographs, manuscript records, exhibition text, and regional collection documentation are the protected intellectual property of the Marlborough Historical Society Inc. Reproduction, distribution, or digital republication without prior written permission is prohibited under New Zealand copyright law.
  • Public Domain Materials: Flat interface vectors, open-source icons, and non-proprietary historical records are deployed from public domain resources or open community licences.
  • DigiCraft Labs Corporate Branding: The corporate trade emblem, digital logo, and brand insignia representing DigiCraft Labs remain the sole copyright property of DigiCraft Labs Limited and are used under permission.

This website does not deploy assets from external collection repositories such as the Alexander Turnbull Library or Auckland Council.

3. Third-Party Licences & Attributions

Where three-dimensional graphic icons from the DrawKit collection are deployed across project materials, they are utilised under licence with attribution granted directly to DrawKit.

4. Online Transactions & Donations

All financial contributions and merchandise orders completed through our digital store are processed securely via PayPal. By initiating an order or donation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Donations support ongoing collection conservation, building maintenance, and educational facilities at Brayshaw Heritage Park.
  • All transactions are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
  • Archival photo reproduction orders are fulfilled by society volunteers according to collection availability and physical print specifications.

5. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. When submitting enquiries or ordering historical materials, we collect only the personal details necessary to answer requests or dispatch orders (such as name, email address, and postal delivery details). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

While the Marlborough Historical Society endeavours to ensure that visiting hours, admission rates, and collection details are accurate and up to date, information is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty. The Society disclaims liability for any loss or inconvenience arising from reliance on website materials.
